You don’t need to be reminded of the legacy of Tom Petty. For decades, the music he and the Heartbreakers made built a foundation upon which countless musicians found inspiration and innumerable fans found a hero. On Friday, Oct. 19, a group of all-star musicians will gather at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles for a special fundraising tribute concert paying homage to Petty’s life, times and enduring influence. Since there simply is no such thing as “too much” Beatles memorabilia for the legendary group’s swaths of fans around the world, another new can’t-miss set is scheduled for release on Nov. 22.
