At the Drive In haven’t released a proper album in 17 years, but they’ll continue their resurgence with a new record, in • ter a • li • a, due out on May 5 via Rise Records.
The band, comprised of Cedric Bixler-Zavala, Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, Paul Hinojos, Tony Hajjar and Keeley Davis, premiered a new song from the record on Wednesday. Stream the frenetic “Incurably Innocent” below:

Vocalist Cedric Bixler-Zavala described the composition as, “a song about sexual abuse and being able to finally speak out.”
This is the second song released from the album so far, coming after December’s “Governed by Contagions”:

in • ter a • li • a will be the band’s first record since Relationship of Command, widely considered one of the most important albums of the alt/punk of the 2000s.
Here’s the album’s track listing:
“No Wolf Like the Present”
“Continuum”
“Tilting at the Univendor”
“Governed by Contagions”
“Pendulum in a Peasant Dress”
“Incurably Innocent”
“Call Broken Arrow”
