LIFEFORMS is the title of the upcoming coming album from Angels & Airwaves, the project spearheaded by Tom DeLonge, former lead guitarist/singer of Blink-182.

The album was officially detailed on Tuesday, and came with the premiere of a new song titled “Restless Souls,” which is written from the perspective of God as a letter to humanity regarding life’s trials and the necessity for humans to demonstrate resiliency, per a news release.

“’Restless Souls’ in many ways is a honest letter from God to humanity – because life seems to always be looking for ways to inspire, clarify and teach us when things become more difficult,” said  DeLonge. Of LIFEFORMS, he said: “This album for me is a journey through different relationships, different points of view, and how we each have our own life path.”

“Restless Souls” is the latest song shared from the album, following “Euphoria,” which debuted in late May:

“Rebel Girl,” originally shared in early 2019, is also part of the album:

As was “Kiss & Tell,” which closes the album:

When released, LIFEFORMS will be the sixth album from Angels & Airwaves and the first since 2014’s The Dream Walker. The current band lineup includes DeLonge (lead vocals, guitar/synths), Ilan Rubin (drums/guitar/backing vocals/synths), David Kennedy (guitar) and Matt Rubano (bass).
