On May 15, Alice Cooper is preparing to release a new single called “Don’t Give Up,” and the shock-rock legend wants you to be an active participant in its release. This sounds like a great way to get everybody involved and having some fun in what is otherwise a frustrating time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Thursday, the Alice Cooper social media channels posted a call-to-action for fans to contribute their own videos in hopes of landing a quick shot in the song’s eventual video:

I know these times are hard, but there is hope. I wrote a new song, “Don’t Give Up” & I want my minions to be a part of this special song! Submit a photo of you holding a sign ft. a word from the lyrics & you could be in the final video.

Cooper’s official site lays out all the rules, and provides the song’s full lyrics so fans may make a selection.

Don’t wait around, though — submissions are due May 4. Good luck!

  • Select ONE WORD from the lyrics below and take a photo or video of yourself holding a sign with that word in BIG, BOLD LETTERS. Alice will pick the best ones to feature in the video.
  • The bigger the sign, the better!
  • Photos/Videos with good lighting and without props work best.
  • Photo/Video must be shot in landscape on your phone or camera and in high resolution (1080p for video).
  • Submit multiple photos of different lyric words for a better chance of being featured!
  • Entries must be submitted in the form below by Monday, May 4, 2020 to be considered.
