New from Beach Boys Icon Al Jardine: Listen to ‘Waves of Love 2.0’ and ‘Jenny Clover’

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Beach Boys co-founder and singer Al Jardine debuted a new solo recording titled “Waves of Love 2.0.” Take a listen below:
The cheery song first appeared as a bonus track on Jardine’s 2012 album A Postcard from California, but was re-recorded recently for this updated version. Here’s a bit more about the update, per Jardine’s official site:
“Waves of Love 2.0,” originally released as a bonus track on A Postcard from California, has been re-recorded by Al’s longtime producer and songwriting collaborator Larry Dvoskin from New York. The new East Coast mix features classic Beach Boys-sounding vocal dit-dits and was also one of Al’s last vocal collaborations with Carl Wilson.
Says Al, “It’s exciting to share this great East Coast version of ‘Waves of Love’ with my fans. Larry Dvoskin’s impeccable dit-dits do me proud and there will also be a new West Coast version on my soon to be re-released solo album A Postcard from California!”
Look for a limited-edition autographed CD single, which will also include a bonus track, “Jenny Clover,” about a beautiful little milk cow cared for by The Jardines and written by Al, his wife Mary Ann and Larry Dvoskin, who also produced the song.
Here’s that bonus track, “Jenny Clover”:
Jardine shared a photo on Instagram showing him autographing CD copies for those who purchase from his website:
