Just last week, Ozzy Osbourne was forced to postpone the upcoming European and UK legs of his ongoing No More Tours 2 farewell tour per doctor’s orders, but things don’t seem to have gotten much better for him.
On Wednesday, the legendary singer‘s wife, Sharon Osbourne, provided a bit of an update: His flu symptoms have worsened and he’s been admitted to a hospital:
As some of you may have heard, Ozzy was admitted to hospital following some complications from the flu. His doctors feel this is the best way to get him on a quicker road to recovery. Thanks to everyone for their concern and love.

UPDATE Feb. 7:
Jack Osbourne, Ozzy and Sharon’s son, says that his dad is “doing much better” a day after his hospitalization:
When Osbourne’s upper-respiratory infection led to the postponement of tour dates, Osbourne issued the following statement:
“I’m completely devastated for having to postpone the European leg of my tour. It just seems that since October everything I touch has turned to shit. First the staph infection in my thumb and now coming down with the flu and bronchitis. I want to apologize to all of my fans who have been so loyal over the years, my band, my crew and to Judas Priest for letting you all down. However, I promise the tour with Judas Priest will be completed. It’s being rescheduled right now to start in September. Again, I apologize to everyone. God Bless. Love you all, Ozzy.”
In light of Wednesday’s news of his condition still not improving very much, we send our best well-wishes and happy thoughts to Ozzy and the Osbourne family, and hope that he’s able to get back to health under the care of doctors.
Get well soon, Ozzy!
