A tireless soul, Grohl has spent much of the past couple of months cooking up a storm with his newest endeavor, Backbeat BBQ, which included lending his pit master services to local firefighters battling the Southern California fires, among other appearances.
He’s also, apparently, working on another new film project, this one about himself. As Loudwire detailed, this tweet showed up from Annandale High School in Virginia, which was the school young Grohl attended:
Went outside to investigate a film crew on campus only to discover that it was Dave Grohl from @foofighters who went to AHS and whose mother was an English teacher at AHS. What a treat! Go Atoms!! pic.twitter.com/bPq5WQcFeF

Dave’s mother, Virginia Grohl, hinted in some recent interviews that a movie about her son’s life was in the works, but nobody knew just how soon that’d be. Now, it appears Grohl and his crew are hard at work on what would be another addition to Foo Fighters-related projects, after the Sound City and Back and Forth documentaries in recent years — as well as the Sonic Highways docu-series, too.
