Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band Heading Out in 2019 for 30th anniversary Tour

Every year, it seems Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band head out on the road — and 2019 will be no exception, especially since the super group will be commemorating three decades of unity in the process.

Along for the fun under the leadership of Ringo will be his longtime colleagues and pals Steve Lukather of Toto, Colin Hay of Men at Work, drummer Greg Bissonette, Gregg Rolie of Santana, Warren Ham and Hamish Stuart (who is filling in for 10cc’s Graham Gouldman this time around).

It’s a good time to remind you of our exclusive RockCellarTV video conversation with Starr, filmed in Las Vegas last year as the All Starr Band was preparing for one of its amazing concerts:

That same session also yielded RockCellarTV chats with All-Starr Band members Steve Lukather (click here) and Todd Rundgren (click here).

In addition to the tour news mentioned above, a new book from Ringo Starr is in the works as well. Titled Another Day In The Life (after that classic Beatles song, of course), the book will be released via Genesis Publications in limited-edition format soon, with standard hardcover coming in April.

From Starr’s official site:

Following in the series that began with the sell-out success of Postcards From The Boys (2003) and Photograph (2013), this book will include previously unpublished photographs, captioned with Ringo’s observations and anecdotes. Reflecting his love of music, travel and nature, Another Day In The Life shows us the world as seen through Ringo’s eyes. From Los Angeles to Tokyo and everywhere in between, many of Ringo’s observational images celebrate the quirkiness of life.

Peace and love!

I’d love Todd Rundgren to be a part of the 30th anniversary tour!
