In our recent interview with Rolling Stones bassist Darryl Jones, it was revealed that the legendary band is on the verge of announcing some U.S. tour dates — and while that has yet to be officially confirmed, some mysterious happenings over the weekend all but imply that it is indeed in the works.
At Mile High Stadium in Denver, Colorado, a big Stones logo banner materialized, without explanation and sure to spark conversation:

Over in Foxborough, Massachusetts, the Patriots’ cheerleading team danced to a routine set to “Start Me Up” which also raised eyebrows:

Again, we’ve known thanks to our Darryl Jones interview that a U.S. tour announcement was likely … but this is the first glimpse of something that proves it might be coming down the pipeline really soon.
For what it’s worth, the Stones’ official site currently features a big e-mail list signup page that reads:
