Few bands are making as much noise lately as Greta Van Fleet. The young rockers are preparing to release their debut full-length, Anthem of the Peaceful Army, this Friday (and a big tour in 2019), and are riding the wave of a string of smash-hit radio singles and high-profile festival gigs, amassing colossal buzz along the way.
Those who dig the band’s throwback hard-rock sound are struck by the vocal range of singer Jake Kiszka, whose voice has elicited inevitable comparisons to that of Led Zeppelin‘s Robert Plant.
That led to a new mashup video from someone calling himself DJ Cummerbund, who released a video to the wild this week that overlays Kiszka’s vocals from “When the Curtain Falls” to the music of Zeppelin’s “The Wanton Song,” and it works:
