Sir Paul McCartney doesn’t need to release new music anymore. Nor does he need to tour heavily nearly every single year … but that’s what he does.
Macca is just a tireless entertainer, a living legend of the highest degree, who holds himself to an impossible work ethic that finds him as busy as he is even at age 76.
On Friday, McCartney released his new album, Egypt Station (pick up a copy here), after weeks of anticipation and pre-release singles like the odd but infectious “Fuh You” — and while, again, it’s not a record he needed to make, it’s undeniably an enjoyable listen.

As well as some amusing bits with the host himself — and Kendall Jenner!
McCartney and his band will celebrate Egypt Station‘s release with a special live streamed concert event tonight, Friday, Sept. 7, beginning at 8:00 P.M. Eastern Time.
During the stream, Macca and his trusty backing band will play selections from the new record, as well as classics from throughout his career with the Beatles, Wings and his many previous solo records.
