Dee Snider Unleashing New Solo LP ‘For the Love of Metal’ on July 27

This summer, Twisted Sister front man Dee Snider will add to his solo catalog with a new album, For the Love of Metal.

Working with Napalm Records, Snider has put together a new collection of recordings featuring some special guests, and it’ll be released on July 27 with the explosive artwork seen above.

Produced by Jamey Jasta of the hardcore/metal band Hatebreed, the album features guest spots from Howard Jones (formerly of Killswitch Engage), Arch Enemy’s Alissa White-Gluz, Lamb of God’s Mark Morton, Toxic Holocaust’s Nick Bellmore and Joel Grind and Charlie Bellmore of Kingdom of Sorrow.

Said Snider of the record:

“This is a really incredibly exciting album that I did not expect to make, especially at this point in my life. Jamey Jasta challenged me to make a contemporary rock record. … and I rose to the challenge!“

This will be the follow-up to Snider’s 2016 album We Are the Ones, and also his fourth solo album to date.

Pre-orders for For the Love of Metal are up now.
