Preview Johnny Marr’s New Album ‘Call the Comet’ with ‘Hi Hello’ and ‘The Tracers’

On June 15, Johnny Marr will return to the fold with Call the Comet, his third solo album following 2013’s The Messenger and 2014’s Playland — and it’s shaping up to be a welcomed addition to the Smiths co-founder’s extensive catalog of music.

Marr first previewed the record with the first single, “The Tracers”:

And he’s since followed that up with a video for “Hi Hello” — a simple clip of him performing in a park, set to the song’s particularly memorable chords and structure:
