Arctic Monkeys’ Pair New Look with New Sound on ‘Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino’ (New Music Friday)

Well, the album was released on Friday and it’s another eclectic and experimental addition to the band’s versatile catalog of music. Front man Alex Turner opens the record’s first track, “Star Treatment,” with the line “I just wanted to be one of the Strokes/Now look at the mess you’ve made me make,” which catches your attention right off the bat … and things progress from there.
