Ray Davies’ ‘Our Country: Americana: Act II’ Due Out 6/29; Stream Lead Single ‘Our Country’

In 2017, Ray Davies added to his rich legacy of music with Americana, a charged solo album that he spoke with Rock Cellar about at length. Just a bit over a year later, the Kinks legend is back with more new music, and a follow-up record.

Titled Our Country: Americana Act II, the new LP will be out on June 29 and will feature new songs in addition to re-workings of some classic tracks from throughout his career, in and out of the Kinks.

It was previewed with a song titled “Our Country” on Wednesday. Take a listen:
