It’s been a long time, but Swedish disco/pop legends ABBA are back — sort of.
On Friday, the group dropped some news on Instagram that ought to make fans the world over quite happy. They’ve recorded two new songs, which will be released in December:
The Guardian details that while the group — Björn Ulvaeus, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad — is also working on a digital ‘avatar’ tour for 2019 or 2020 that will take place instead of a traditional concert tour.
The centrepiece is the two-hour TV show co-produced by NBC and the BBC, which will see the band perform as computer-generated avatars. Ulvaeus said the band had been digitally scanned and “de-aged” to look like they did in 1979, when they performed their third and final tour.

Stay tuned, this certainly sounds intriguing…
