This Friday, A Perfect Circle will release their new studio album, Eat the Elephant.

The latest song premiered in advance of the album’s release is “So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish,” a reference to the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy book series. Featuring shimmery guitars and some pointed social commentary from vocalist Maynard James Keenan, the song is an interesting, aesthetically accessible composition from the band.

The accompanying video clip focuses solely on dolphins swimming in the ocean, too:

This song joins other pre-release singles “Disillusioned,”  “TalkTalk” and “The Doomed,” which received an engaging music video treatment:

At this time, the band’s lineup consists of Keenan, Billy Howerdel, James Iha, Jeff Friedl and Matt McJunkins — who spoke with Rock Cellar at the NAMM Show in January for a fun interview.
