The ‘Concert for George’ Returning to Theaters to Commemorate George Harrison’s 75th Birthday on 2/25

The late George Harrison would be turning 75 years old on February 25, so what better way to honor his legacy than by revisiting the legendary 2002 Concert for George?

The tribute event, which featured faithful homages from Harrison’s friends and colleagues including Eric Clapton, remaining Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, Tom Petty, Joe Brown, Monty Python, Jeff Lynne, Ravi and Anoushka Shankar and many more, was preserved with a DVD/Blu-ray release — but it’s heading back to theaters soon.

Starting on February 20, theaters across the United States will be offering a limited-run of showings of the Concert for George. Here’s a trailer:
