RSO (Richie Sambora and Orianthi) Release Valentine’s Day Singles ‘I Got You Babe’ and ‘Forever All the Way’ – Listen

RSO, the new collaborative project from longtime Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora and guitarist Orianthi, has been busy over the past few months.

In October, the duo arrived with a debut EP, and followed that up two months later with a second collection of tunes.

With Valentine’s Day approaching rapidly — seriously, it’s less than a week away — the pair premiered two new V-Day-themed recordings on Friday. First up is a cover of the Sonny and Cher favorite “I Got You Babe”:

And second is an original composition titled “Forever All the Way”:

“‘I Got You Babe’ is one of the best duets of all time, and it’s a song that reminds us that true affection has no limitations,” said Sambora. “Ori and I loved paying homage to this timeless Sonny & Cher classic. We’ve been doing our own duets and writing so much music together as RSO, and ‘Forever All The Way’ is a song we wrote about sincere commitment. And just like Valentine’s Day, this song isn’t only about romance, it’s also about love for a child, a parent, a friend or a family member.”
Next up for RSO is a new full-length album, slated for release in April — but not before Sambora is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame alongside the rest of Bon Jovi.
