Hear Jimi Hendrix’s Previously Unreleased Cover of Muddy Waters’ ‘Mannish Boy’ – from ‘Both Sides of the Sky’

On March 9, Both Sides of the Sky, a new collection of previously unheard Jimi Hendrix material will be released — and now we have a song to preview from the LP.

Titled “Mannish Boy,” this song came out of the first-ever studio session from the group of musicians Hendrix would later christen the BAnd of Gypsys, and was recorded on April 22, 1969 at New York’s the Record Plant.

    I really like that one. Thankfully, well recorded at a major studio. Hope the other tracks are as good as that one!
