The Breeders Announce New Album ‘All Nerve,’ Out 3/2; Premiere the Title Track (Stream)

It’s been a long time since the core lineup of the Breeders released a new album — 25 years in fact — but the band, which achieved radio success in the early ’90s thanks to the single “Cannonball,” will do just that on March 2.

Announced on Tuesday, All Nerve will be the first album from the band’s classic lineup (Kim Deal, Kelley Deal, Josephine Wiggs and Jill Macpherson) since 1993’s Last Splash. It’s also the first album from any iteration of the Breeders since 2008. Kim Deal, who also spent years as the bassist in the Pixies, left that group in 2013, before the 2014 release of the album Indy Cindy.

The alt/indie band accompanied this big news with a premiere of the record’s title track, take a listen:
