Among their celebrated albums, R.E.M.‘s Automatic for the People stands tall as one of the best.
The 1992 record featured the hits “Everybody Hurts,” “Nightswimming,” “Man on the Moon” and “Drive,” and this year that record turns 25 years old. In commemoration, Michael Stipe and his band mates (and their label) put together a rather expansive remastered reissue for the anniversary.
Featuring the original album, live version of songs from the record taken from various live performances during the era and a trove of demo recordings, this package should definitely please devoted R.E.M. fans.
