Noel Gallagher Announces New Album ‘Who Built the Moon?’ and North American Tour Dates

On November 24, Noel Gallagher — principal songwriter and occasional vocalist for the longtime Britpop band Oasis — will release his third proper studio solo album under the Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds name.

Titled Who Built the Moon?, the album was announced on Monday along with the following teaser:

Who Built the Moon? comes on the heels of two solid albums from Gallagher in his post-Oasis career, with 2015’s Chasing Yesterday the focus of a candid interview conducted with Rock Cellar that you can read at this link.

Noel and his band will head over to the United States for a tour in February-March 2018:

Noel’s new album, it must also be pointed out, will be released roughly six weeks after the debut solo album from his brother and ex-musical partner, Liam Gallagher, whose As You Were releases October 6.
