Singer/songwriter Marshall Crenshaw, a visionary recording artist over the past three-plus decades, has dipped into the vault for a pair of reissues that ought to please longtime fans.
This month, a vinyl reissue of his 1983 album Field Day was released by Intervention Records, featuring previously unreleased album artwork. There’s a host of pre-order packages for the set up at Crenshaw’s PledgeMusic campaign page, so check that out if you’re so inclined. Crenshaw is also looking to release a reissued version of 1982’s Thank You, Rock Fans!!, a live album of material recorded at a gig in San Francisco. He’s hoping to release that on vinyl via Run Out Groove soon, so if you’d like to make that happen cast a vote and do your part at this link.
