New England Patriots Pay Tribute to Bengals’ Player’s Daughter

With all of the relentless negativity and controversy surrounding the NFL’s off-field issues lately, it’s refreshing to see something so life-affirming and warm take place on the field.

Cincinnati Bengals defensive lineman Devon Still was at the core of the issue: his four-year-old daughter Leah is currently battling pediatric cancer.

Still’s Bengals played the New England Patriots on October 5, and the Pats took the opportunity to make a show of solidarity in the midst of tremendous difficulty: New England’s cheerleaders wore Still’s jersey on the sidelines and Gillette Stadium played a video tribute to young Leah.
