A man named Nigel Sykes tried to rob Seasons Pizza in Newport, Delaware by forcing his way in through the back door at gunpoint.
His plan unraveled, though, when employees tackled him to the ground and held him until the authorities could come defuse the sitaution.
So what did Sykes do? Why, he sued the pizza restaurant of course! He alleged “unnecessary” forced used by the employees and police officers, and was apparently seeking more than $250,000 in “damages”.
Obviously, this kind of lawsuit was received with near-laughter by everyone, but it apparently has yet to be officially thrown out…another victory for the swift arm of the law, right?
