Rush‘s self-titled 1974 debut album began the band’s ascent to the top of the prog/alternative rock world. As the album turns 40 years old in 2014, a fancy reissue is currently in the works.
According to the Globe and Mail, the reissue has been overseen by founding band members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson:
“…the band members are “very involved” in next year’s 40th-anniversary reissue of the group’s self-titled debut album.”
Further details about the reissue, including track listings, bonus material and other goodies have yet to be announced, so stay tuned!
