When you go to a Green Day concert, you can count on being entertained for roughly two full hours. That’s precisely what happened at their Revolution Radio Tour-capping performance at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on Saturday night.

Playing songs from throughout their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame career, Green Day delighted the masses once again, with front man/guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong demonstrating why he’s one of the best band leaders around. Those who’ve attended Green Day shows know that one of the definite highlights is when Billie Joe calls upon an excited fan to join the band on stage to help out — which happened during the Dookie song “Longview” on Saturday night.
But this kid was up for it — and then some. After earning his call to the stage by exclaiming that it was his birthday, this guy put on quite a display — hopping around the stage like he knew what he was doing, hyping up the crowd and actually doing a pretty good job singing, as well …. which can sometimes be the hardest part for these fans, considering the excitement they’re feeling at the moment.
Watch his performance below:
Not bad, huh? It was quite a scene, and a definite high point of the evening.
