Readying His First New Album in Over a Decade, Andrew W.K. Kicks Off ‘The Party Never Dies’ Tour

Andrew W.K., the man who burst onto the scene in 2001 with his debut album I Get Wet and nonstop barrage of partying anthems such as “Party Hard,” “It’s Time to Party,” “Ready to Die,” “She Is Beautiful” and more, is back.

Tonight (September 18), he kicks off his The Party Never Dies Tour, his first tour with a full backing band in quite some time. It’s all geared around his new full-length album, which will be released on March 2, 2018 via Sony Music — and is his first full album of new material in more than decade, after a lengthy period of time without releasing recorded music.

In the years since I Get Wet, Andrew W.K. has spent time hosting TV shows, guest-writing advice columns, launching his own political party, heading out on motivational speaking tours and manning a truly inspirational Twitter account, among other activities, but it’s apparently time to get back to business with the band.

Stay tuned for music and full details about the album, but in the meantime: here’s the schedule of the Party Never Dies Tour so you can catch the party in your town:
