U2 Share Live Video of New Song ‘The Blackout,’ Another New Single from ‘Songs of Experience’ Coming 9/6

U2‘s readying another new album, Songs of Experience, for release sometime soon as the follow-up and bookend to 2014’s Songs of Innocence. And judging by their recent activity, that’s probably coming sooner rather than later.

Today, the band premiered a live performance of a new song called “The Blackout” via Facebook Live. Take a look/listen below:

That song comes after Bono and the guys took to performing another new song, “The Little Things Give You Away,” during the encore of their huge Joshua Tree anniversary tour this summer. They also played that song on Jimmy Kimmel Live:

On September 6, another new song will be premiered — it’s called “You’re The Best Thing About Me,” and is a good sign that Songs of Experience is probably going to be here shortly.
