Over the weekend, LiveNation’s Classic West concerts took place at Dodger Stadium. The two-day gigs featured sets from the Eagles, the Doobie Brothers., Earth, Wind & Fire, Steely Dan, Journey and Fleetwood Mac, so naturally there were plenty of memorable moments.
One of those came during the Eagles’ headlining set on Saturday night, when Deacon Frey, son of the late Glenn Frey, appeared on stage with his father’s band mates and led the crowd in a rendition of “Take It Easy.” Watch fan-shot video below:
Bob Seger also showed up for a performance of “Heartache Tonight”:
As did Vince Gill, who sang lead vocals on “Take It To the Limit”:
Here’s Fleetwood Mac performing “Go Your Own Way” on Sunday night:
Journey doing “Don’t Stop Believing,” which was of course a fan favorite:
“Dirty Work” from Steely Dan:
Not a bad weekend. The East Coast counterpart, Classic East, is set for July 29-30 at Citi Field in Queens, featuring the same bands.
