The Foo Fighters have been quiet lately (save for surprise U.K. gigs in tiny clubs) , which almost assuredly means one thing: they’re working on new music. Those assumptions seem to have been proven correct on Monday night, when Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins and Rami Jaffee took part in Acoustic-4-A-Cure, a San Francisco fundraising concert put on by James Hetfield and Sammy Hagar benefiting UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital.
There, the three Foo members busted out a new song called “The Sky is a Neighborhood,” and there’s fan video to prove it. Below, watch the performance – which features Grohl on acoustic guitar, delivering some passionate and throaty vocals:
