Paramore Return with ‘Hard Times’ and its Retro-Themed Video; New Album ‘After Laughter’ Due 5/12

On May 12, Paramore will release their fifth studio album, After Laughter — and the first since 2013’s self-titled affair, an LP that won the band a Grammy with the single “Ain’t It Fun.”

The new record features vocalist Hayley Williams and marks the return of original drummer Zac Farro (as well as guitarist/producer Taylor York). Producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen is credited as playing bass on the new material.

Paramore released a music video for After Laughter‘s lead single, the glammy, retro-styled “Hard Times,” in conjunction with the album news. Watch it below:
