Bee Gees’ ‘Timeless: The All-Time Greatest Hits’ Coming 4/21

Bee Gees’ ‘Timeless: The All-Time Greatest Hits’ Coming 4/21

The Bee Gees are one of the most revered groups in the history of music, especially regarding the pop/disco genres, and on April 21 a career-spanning best-of will be released via Universal Music.

Titled Timeless: The All-Time Greatest Hits, the special set was personally curated by co-founder Barry Gibb, who sequenced the songs on the set in chronological order to fully capture the band’s momentous rise to the top.

“There is a spirituality about this album and these songs always meant the most to us,” says Barry Gibb in his written introduction for the Timeless: The All-Time Greatest Hits package. “Although there are many other songs, these songs, I feel, are the songs that Maurice, Robin, and I would be most proud of.”

The album’s release comes during a busy month for the Bee Gees, as on April 21 a remastered and updated version of the classic 1977 film Saturday Night Fever will be reissued on vinyl. A Director’s Cut of the film itself will also be released, too, on digital/DVD/Blu-ray formats.

But wait, there’s even more — Stayin Alive: A Grammy Salute to the Music of the Bee Gees will air on CBS on April 16 and will feature several big-name musical acts paying tribute to their music.
