Get Acquainted with Irontom: Stream ‘Brain Go,’ Ahead of Their Tour Dates with the Red Hot Chili Peppers

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have a big North American tour coming up in support of their 2016 album The Getaway, and for the month of May they’ll be joined on the road by Los Angeles-based band Irontom.

Irontom, led by guitarist Zach Irons (who is also the guitarist of AWOLNATION and the son of Jack Irons, founding drummer of the Peppers and also a former member of Pearl Jam), are readying their debut album, Partners, with producer Aaron Bruno (who fronts AWOLNATION). Recently, Irontom previewed that debut with a catchy song called “Brain Go”:

As you might expect, the guys in Irontom are looking forward to playing some shows with the Chili Peppers:

“It’s difficult to measure just how much of an impact and influence they’ve had on us as a group,” says IRONTOM vocalist Harry Hayes. “It’s an unbelievable honor and we’re so excited to get to open for them – they’re truly a great rock and roll band.”
