Mötley Crüe Announce Retirement, Farewell Tour with Alice Cooper

Big news: Mötley Crüe are hanging it up.

The iconic hard rock band will announce the news officially via a live stream this afternoon – but TMZ broke the news early.

In the press release distributed earlier this week, the phrases ‘all bad things must come to an end’, hinting that the forthcoming news would be the ‘biggest announcement of their career’.

Thus ends a more than 30-year career that has found them sell millions and millions of albums, head out on successful tour after successful tour, have residencies in Las Vegas and affirm their status as one of rock n’ roll’s most enduring bands.
