Pearl Jam’s big ‘stay tuned’ tease from earlier this week? Turns out it pertained to two live dates in July.
This morning, the band announced special shows: Tuesday, July 16th at Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario and Friday, July 19th at Chicago’s Wrigley Field (home of the Cubs).
More, from PJ’s site:
We are excited to announce two special Pearl Jam live performances to take place in London, Ontario and at Chicago’s Wrigley Field in July 2013. Both evenings will be An Evening with Pearl Jam; there will not be an opening band for either performance date.
Members of Pearl Jam’s Ten Club will have advance access to ticket sales before the general public, as usual. Public on-sales for the shows are scheduled for Saturday, February 9th at 10 AM (local time).
In addition to this big of juicy summer tour news, Pearl Jam also hinted at a more lengthy fall tour:
Fall Tour dates in the US will be announced in the coming months.
They’re still working on a new album, which will be the follow-up to 2009′s Backspacer, but it appears as if Pearl Jam are also aching to get back on the road…
Stay tuned for any further news regarding PJ’s 2013 plans.
