The History of the Eagles: The Story of an American Band is a new officially-sanctioned documentary about the band that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this week.
In February, both Part 1 and Part 2 of the film will air on Showtime (which is a pretty quick turnaround). The premiere will be staggered over two nights, February 15th and 16th.
As you might expect, Part 1 chronicles the legendary band’s early period, while Part 2 concerns itself with their latter period, solo careers & reunions.

The movie will presumably hit DVD/Blu-Ray/digital later this year.
