Accidentally “pocket-dialing” someone is an experience no cell phone owner enjoys, and two sisters found that out the hard way.

22-year old Ashlie Alewine and her younger sister Nakilya Wright, 18, found themselves in a heap of trouble.

According to the front desk clerk who was robbed, a woman approached her with sunglasses, a bandana and a hand over her mouth and proceeded to rob the front desk.

Then:

While the clerk was speaking to the police dispatcher on her cell phone, the hotel’s phone rang. The clerk picked up the hotel phone and heard a conversation in the background as if the caller had inadvertently “pocket dialed” the hotel.

The clerk told police she heard the voice of the suspect discussing the robbery that just happened. She says the suspect described to another person how she took the money and the second person in the conversation asked if she left behind any fingerprints.

Turns out, the clerk recognized Alewine’s voice – as she had just been fired from the hotel two days before the incident.

Both have been arrested, as there was video surveillance footage to further incriminate them as well.
