Colorado just legalized the personal possession of marijuana, so naturally some wise entrepreneur thought of a way to capitalize on it.
His name is Matt Jones, a 24-year old who has founded “THC University”, which aims to instruct aspiring weed owners about how to grow and cultivate their (now totally legal) possession.
From the school’s website:
The passing of Amendment 64 allows you to legally possess and grow up to six marijuana plants in the state of Colorado, making marijuana cultivation a legal, rewarding, and cost effective way of producing marijuana for your own medicinal or recreational uses.
Jones says that he hopes to bring in marijuana experts to lead instruction in day-long classes at Auraria Campus in Denver (which he has rented out for the makeshift school in February and March).
There are three levels of enrollment available: an Associates Degree ($175), a Bachelors ($275) or a Master’s Degree ($400).
When Amendment 64 was passed in Colorado, it was only a matter of time before someone figured out how to (creatively) turn it into profit…
