An anonymous man in Pleasanton, California sought to honor the memories of the victims of the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut by doing a random good deed.
His method? He walked into the barber shop owned by Cosmo Panetta and handed him $200 to pay for the haircuts of 20 children so they would “look good at Christmastime”.
Said Panetta:
He wouldn’t give me his name…but I agreed to his request. One mother was in the shop with her four young children, so I cut their hair for free and then another 16 on Christmas Eve.
Sometimes paying it forward is pretty easy…
