19-year old actor Angus T. Jones, perhaps better known as Jake from the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men, put himself in the headlines recently by blasting the show as being ‘filth.’
Jones, who reportedly nets $350,000 per episode, made the comments in a video interview with the Forerunner Chronicles in which he discusses his ‘religious awakening’ in depth.
More from Jones in the clip:
Jake from ‘Two and a Half Men’ means nothing…He is a non-existent character. If you watch ‘Two and a Half Men,’ please stop watching ‘Two and a Half Men.’ I’m on ‘Two and a Half Men’ and I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching. Please stop filling your head with filth, please.
Jones is entitled to these thoughts, of course – and they’re particularly interesting since ex-Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen also went on record blasting the show. What lands Jones a spot in the Eddie, Are You Kidding? category this month is the fact that he remains on the show, lining his pockets thickly despite apparently being completely against everything the show stands for.
