On November 20, a documentary film chronicling the legacy of the Replacements will be released on DVD, after premiering at various film festivals over the past year.

Titled Color Me Obsessed: A Film about The Replacements, the flick doesn’t actually include any interviews with band members or their music. However, it DOES include interviews with hardcore fans of the band and various luminaries among the entertainment world. As the film’s site details, the doc features interviews with:

Musicians such as Husker Du, Babes in Toyland, The Decemberists, The Hold Steady, Archers of Loaf, Titus Andronicus, and Goo Goo Dolls; writers such as Jack Rabid, Legs McNeil, Robert Christgau, Jim DeRegotis, and Greg Kot; and actors such as George Wendt, Tom Arnold, and Dave Foley.
