DREAM SYNDICATE TO REFORM FOR SHOWS IN SPAIN – 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE DAYS OF WINE AND ROSES

Steve Wynn of Steve Wynn & Miracle 3, and The Baseball Project has just announced a temporary reformation of his first successful band – The Dream Syndicate – for a short tour commemorating the 30th Anniversary of their seminal album The Days of Wine and Roses.
Hard to believe that it’s been that long since that album was released, although Steve Wynn has continued to record, tour and rock non-stop since then. Whatever fountain of youth Wynn’s been drinking from he needs to share it with us all.

Plans are to have original members Dennis Duck and Mark Walton join Wynn along with current Miracle 3 guitarist Jason Victor for a handful of shows in Spain.
Sept. 21 – Bam Festival; Barcelona Spain
Sept. 22 – Wah Wah Club; Valencia Spain
Sept. 25 – El Sol; Madrid Spain
Sept. 29 – Walk On Festival; Bilbao Spain
This is the first time Walton, Duck and Wynn have performed as Dream Syndicate since 1988, outside of a couple of sit-in jams. In 2009 Wynn had his Miracle 3 band perform 1984′s Medicine Show in its entirety for the 25th anniversary of that popular album.
Here’s a video from the vaults of 1984 – a Dream Syndicate performance in Madrid Spain, matter of fact…
