Ex-Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante will release Letur Lefr, a new EP the week of July 9th.
After he left the Chilis in 2009, Frusciante was said to have been uninterested in releasing any material for a while, but it appears now that he’s changed his mind.
The EP will contain 5 songs, and will be released in a number of different formats, including cassette (yes, cassette).
I consider my music to be Progressive Synth Pop, which says nothing about what it sounds like, but does describe my basic approach. I combine aspects of many styles of music and create my own musical forms by way of electronic instruments.
