The trailer for Jonathan Demme’s new Neil Young documentary Journeys was made available yesterday.
The doc, which features footage from Uncle Neil’s 2011 solo gig in Toronto and footage of Young returning to his homeland of Ontario, premiered at Sundance earlier this year and will be released theatrically on June 29th.
In the clip, which you can view below, Neil drives around admiring the countryside and talks about how he “lived in this pup tent so I could be closer to my chickens…at least I think that’s why I was out there…”
As we reported previously, a new Neil Young & Crazy Horse covers album called Americana will be released a few weeks before this doc hits theaters, meaning that this summer will be heavy on Neil Young-related activities.
