Among the Foo Fighters fan community, talk of the Million Dollar Demos is fervent – they’ve been sought after for years.
The demo recordings were scrapped versions of a group of songs that would become the 2002 album One By One. Some of the songs were re-recorded later, while others were scrapped altogether.
Somehow, two of the Million Dollar Demo versions found their way online this week, as initially reported on the Foos’ official message board.
It’d be great if the band decided to officially release the Million Dollar Demos in some sort of commemorative One By One re-issue sometime soon, but that seems unlikely.
Below, listen to rough initial versions of eventual One by One tracks Have It All and Come Back. There’s no word on how these leaked or if more are on their way, but stay tuned.
