Tenacious D’s new music video for the title track from their new album Rize of the Fenix was released this week – and it’s one of the silliest things you’ll ever see.

Starting out with Jack Black and Kyle Gass (or Jables & Rage Cage, if you’re a D-sciple) clad in Jedi robes (very appropriate, considering today is May the Fourth), the special-effects laden clip uses green screens, explosions, stunts and other zany nonsense.

Adding to the fun is the disclaimer stating that the video is purportedly a “rough cut”, with a “DO NOT DISTRIBUTE” warning attached at the beginning.

This video comes after the D already released a clip for To Be the Best featured one of Val Kilmer’s most breathtaking acting performances, as well as an obligatory Dave Grohl cameo too.

As an additional treat, stream the entire new album below. May the Fourth be with you.
