Ringo Starr and Dave Stewart of Eurythmics have teamed up with Paramount Studios to produce a feature film titled Hole in the Fence.
Starr and Stewart have signed on as executive producers for the project, which will be a “coming-of-age drama is about a group of kids who form a band to escape their depressing mining town” (according to Deadline).
David Harris is currently composing the script, which is based on the music of Starr and Stewart and their original plot concepts.
Little else is known about the project, but it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone paying attention to either legendary musician. They’re both longtime friends, and Stewart already has another film project in the works as well – he’s working with Harris on developing a film adaptation of the graphic novel Zombie Broadway, which they co-created along with Christine Schenley.
