Regarding our article: Actress Juliette Lewis is Also a Hard Lovin’ Singer

Hey there Juliette, I love your music. I had no idea you could sing like that. I just watched Kalifornia again yesterday. I laughed when that girl said “They look like Okies.” lol (I’m from Oklahoma). You did such a great job playing that girl. I’ll bet there were a few times you and that other girl had to start over because of the laughing about how childlike you had to be. Some of those lines are halarious. Is that French? ha Well, keep rocking and doing your thing!

Regarding our article: Did the Bee Gees Kill Grand Funk Railroad?

I’d certainly be interested in an interview with Lynn Goldsmith regarding her insight and work with Grand Funk. I really didn’t discover Grand Funk until after the band members had moved on to Mark being a solo act and Don, Mel & Craig starting a new band called Flint. I know Don and Mark were the only two members of the We’re An American Band era to be involved in the GFR that recorded two new LPs in the early 1980s. The original trio made an attempt at one last serious return in the 1990s before Mark was no longer in the band and GFR became what I consider a nostalgia act since the new band does some touring but has never recorded any new material. Mostly, I think that GFR’s 1970s era hasn’t received nearly the attention I as a fan feels it has deserved in comparison to other rock acts of the time such as Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin. For one, very little officially released concert footage exists.

Regarding our article: Paul McCartney, Ronnie Wood, Paul Weller and Roger Daltrey Rock the Albert Hall

TCT was a Who invention. I always thought Paul McCartney was more of a Vegas pop star than a real rock&roller. He proved it on this video. what a sorry assed punk.

Regarding our article: Val Kilmer Takes a Bullet to the Chest for Tenacious D

Tenacious D does an A+ job with its music and comedy for me. An ideal pair. I am so, so stoked for “Rize of the Fenix” on May 15 and for the band to tour. Dave Grohl back on drums, too! Too good to be true.

Regarding our article: Who Shot Rock & Roll: A Photographic History

I saw this exhibit last Fall; my only criticism was that I thought it was too small a collection. Very interesting photos though.

I’m still waiting ‘and hoping’ to meet Daniel. He seems like a real good guy and a fellow Canadian musician. He loves good music and pedal steel guitar. My kind’a person! =R=
